Pablo R. Antonio Jr. Design Consultancy, Inc. Had its beginnings in 1936. It was initiated by the late Pablo S. Antonio Sr., National Artist for Architecture and the premier Architect of his time. He is best known for designing the Manila Polo Club of Makati; the Far Eastern University, the Lyric, Galaxy and Ideal Theaters, the Syquia Mansion, all in Manila; and the PNR Station in Paco, Manila and Baguio City.
The present crop of architects and designers that make up the present company sees to it that the legacy and imprint of the company’s illustrious founder is carried on. Among these projects are the Texas Instruments Plant in Baguio City, Amkor Anam P1 in Muntinlupa and P3 in Laguna and the recently completed Philips Semiconductors Philippines plant in LISP I, Laguna. The firm also boasts of such diverse projects such as the Asian Hospital and Medical center with Anhen + Allen, Essensa Towers at Fort Bonifacio Global City done in collaboration with Pei, Cobb, Freed & Partners, the Phinma Plaza and Nestle Building at the Rockwell Center in collaboration with Skidmore, Owings & Merrill Chicago, and the Subic Yacht Club in collaboration with the Hassel group.
